Home. What does home feel like to you?
Sometimes when I visit other people's home, they always tell me, "Make yourself at home!" But that house will never be home for many of us. Others state that, "Where _______ is, it is home for me" or "Without ______, it does not feel like home."
What's one thing that makes you think of home?
"In my Father's house, there are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am." [John 14:2-3]
Jesus directs this message to Peter, and to us too. He's preparing a place for you. A place especially for you. Heaven is a place with no sorrow, no sadness, a place where all the believers will come together as one nation, and in our Father's house, he has a room especially for you. It will not be made so everyone is comfortable, but ensure that you are made comfortable. Just for you.
Doesn't that sound like home?

For the Christian, heaven is spelled H-O-M-E.
