When I had an argument with one of my Christian friends, I remember the feeling of dread of going to church. I didn't want to face them, and I didn't want them to see me. I knew how they felt about me, and to be honest, I dreaded the looks they would give or the talks they were maybe giving behind my back.
"Don't have anything to do with foolish and stupid arguments, because you know they produce quarrels." [2 Timothy 2:23]
Our lives should be a testimony of God's word, and our conduct are able to reduce friction within the church. If there is conflict, are we truly being children of God, as one body? If we are troubled, should we truly go to the alter with burden that is not lifted off our shoulders? We need to model our lives after the biblical thing to do, and be sure none of the brothers and sisters in church have this sense of dread of going to church.

Christians at war with each other cannot be at peace with their Heavenly Father.
