Have you ever heard of the song "Prince of Peace"? The one where the girls and the guys sing simultaneously but different verses? It was one of my favourite Christian worship songs for the longest time but then I realized...what is true peace?
"Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you." [John 14:27]
Jesus is often referred to as the "Prince of Peace." Today's devotion was talking about how no matter what you have in life, whether you're rich or poor, whether you own a bike or a Cadillac, whether you're going to university or college, if you don't have Jesus within you, you have no peace. Peace is also one of the fruit of the spirits. The fruit that we should all embody and show to other people. Through Jesus, that is possible. Then it boils down to one thing. What is peace? According to BibleQuestions.org, peace is described as "a product of spiritual minded." I realized that through the noise of exams and studying, pressures and stress, I haven't had any peace for the last month. Step back, take a breath, and receive peace that was given when Jesus stressed his arms across the cross.

Jesus died in our place to give us His peace.
