Less Than 12 Hours.

In less than 12 hours my parents will be on the plane to Hong Kong. They're going to HK for about 3 weeks and they're going to leave me and my 3 siblings alone at home. The reason for that is because they just need some time to relax (without us) and to visit their families.

I've never experienced something like this. My parents have never both left at the same time for such a long period of time. I've always been wondering what it's like to be parent-less. I guess i'll have to go through it starting tomorrow.

All this independence is now coming into action. Going to and from school with my little brother. Then checking up on him to see if he's working or sleeping. Also, cooking for him if he needs or is wanting anything.

I'll miss them for sure but at the same time it's good for me to learn from this experience. Gotta make the best of the time that i have left with them.
