During the second world war, British Prime Minister Winston Churchill told the world, "Give us the tools, and we will finish the job." He was referring to a time where the Nazis were sweeping Europe, and their last resort was near being finished, he called out to the world for help. Without calling out for help, they couldn't have defeated the Nazis and ended one of the most brutal inhumane acts in the world.
Our Christian lives should model that; when our lives are being crushed by the troubles of the world, we must turn to those in our lives that could help us. Not only is our Christian walk saturated with brothers and sisters whom can help us, uphold us and keep us accountable, they are placed specifically by the hands of God. But specifically, we should also seek help from our heavenly Father, who is the ultimate comforter.
“Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” [Hebrews 4:16]
In all times of need, we are able to turn to God even if we feel that no one is listening, or that no one can help us. Despite the fact not everyone may know your situation, God knows. And he will always be there for us, no matter what.

Don't let prayer be your last resource in times of need; make it your first.
