Just Because He's Good

Psalm 100

Last year for grade 11 functions, we had to sign up for our teacher's website because my teacher placed all the homework assignments and whatnot on the site. The first day, we were told there was a password to sign up and we needed it to create an account in order to get that day's homework. We did not have the textbooks so in order to do our homework, we had to use the website.

Going online, the first thing I realized was that...I didn't know the password! I quickly e-mailed my teacher in a panic to retrieve it, but four hours later, I got nothing! So in a panic, I called someone I rarely called or talked too in school (jocks are scary to me .__.) and he told me every question I needed on that page! Over the phone! He was there for an hour, reading out math equations, to someone he barely talked too!

The moment I hang up, I get an e-mail notification from my teacher telling me the password. Coincidence? I think not. I call these moments God's irony moments. When we doubt him, or think he might not exist, God always puts faith back in me somehow. Although this is only one moment, there are lots of times where I just sit there and know that God is chuckling at me from heaven. He's continuously blessing me with gifts, whether its patience, integrity, love, homework help, kindness towards other, money randomly found in my pockets that I need or car rides, I just know these gifts are from God. Have you realized his gift to you today?

Every good gift comes from the Father.
