We often listen to our favourite music when we do our homework, while driving, etc. When we hear our favourite song we tend to turn it up so we can jam to it. You block yourself from hearing anything else.
Romans 5:5
And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.
Listening to music is like pouring a song into your hear; the Holy Spirit pours love into your heart. Through the Holy Spirit's power, you can see beyond faults and despite selfishness and without prejudices and past your own fear. You can see someone the way God sees that person. And then, through the same power, you can love that person.
